Babies everywhere!

This quilt is fast becoming my most difficult project. I was in the first stage, piecing together the quilt squares when my sewing machine went and died on me. Either I put it on hold while I waited to get the machine fixed or I would need to take action some other way. So, it has been done entirely by hand... For now, I've finished the quilt top and this embroidery piece. I need to get the sandwich done. I was thinking of quilting it, but I've decided to go with just a sprinkle of stitches, as I've done before. It's quicker and, as I haven't got the sewing machine fixed, I will need to do the binding by hand too...
The backing is to be done with the cat fabric in the background. Baby David will just have to wait a little longer...

I'm starting to feel I don't have a lot of time... This quilt is for a baby that has already been born. The next three babies will be born in December and January, which gives me about two months for three quilts... Overtime!
